Spring Fling Auction Update
Jim’s got your number!!! He knows that whether you are young, old(er), UU, or UU-adjacent, there’s a place for you at the WUU SPRING FLING AUCTION.
Yes, it’s time to dust off your bidding skills and register for WUU’s first ever hybrid auction. That’s right, we will have both an online auction (April 10-17) and a live, in-person event at WUU on April 18 from 5:30-7:30 pm. Each will have different offerings, so you can participate in either or both.
There’s still time to make a donation! We’re accepting donations until March 22. Generous—and very creative—members of WUU have already submitted some very enticing entries, and there’s still time for you to contribute a special something, event, or service. You can submit your concept either online or by stopping by the Spring Fling Auction table in the Gathering Hall on Sundays. There’s no need to bring anything to WUU at this point. All you need to do now is register your idea and commit to passing your auction item over to the highest bidder following the live auction (even if you win a bid at the silent auction, all transfers will happen after April 18).
To make life a little easier, we’ve set up a one-stop site for all your auction needs. Just click on the link here and you will be whisked to our Auctria website. You can submit a donation, buy a ticket, or get reminders of important dates. Or, easier still for some—come by the table, fill out a donation form and buy a ticket in person. Pinky the Flamingo will be thrilled to see you!
The online auction will be great, and the live event promises to be a wonderful opportunity to be in community with all your UU pals. There will be finger food, beverages (including the adult variety), and activities for the kids, so bring the whole family! UU fun will be in full bloom!!!
Donation Dates: from now until March 22. You don’t need to bring anything to WUU but your wonderful self to make a donation.
