Social Justice Updates February 2026

Love is at the center this month. Many of you either watched the Super Bowl Halftime show or heard all about it. It was such a heartwarming show to watch. Most importantly, the NFL billboard clearly on display during the show says it all….

“The only thing more powerful than hate is love.”

Here is a link if you did not get a chance to watch it: Bad Bunny's Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show

Rainbow Ministry

Share the Plate last month went to Virginia Organizing to support the first annual PRIDE event on June 27th at Jamestown Beach Event Park. WUU is now an official sponsor! We will also be hosting a booth and children’s events during the day. Members of the Rainbow Ministry are busy at work helping to plan this exciting event. We will be reaching out to ask for help on the day, so be sure to add it to your calendars!
