Religious Education for Children & Youth
Every Sunday morning, children and youth are invited to attend our worship service at 10:00 am. There is an area to play in the front of the Sanctuary during the service. Children are seen and heard at WUU. All are welcome!
On most Sunday mornings, families attend the Sunday service at 10:00, and at 10:30 the congregation sings out participating children as they leave the Sanctuary for their classes, which end at 11:30. Parents can pick up their children at that time.
For June, the Religious Education team will take a short break on Sundays. There will still be childcare through age 5 available starting at the beginning of the service at 10 to 11 am. The Kids Corner is still open and will have quiet activities to do during services. Kids are also welcome to sit in the Gathering Hall with an adult, if desired. You can watch TV monitors for the service from there.
For any questions about RE, please contact Robin Wootton, Director of Religious Education: dre@wuu.org.
WUU RE will be sponsoring a super fantastic play area for the upcoming Williamsburg Pridefest at Jamestown Beach on June 27. We'll have crafts and a PHOTO BOOTH! A box will be in the Gathering Hall near the Welcome Center to collect items for the next month until June 21. We would love all kinds of fabulous clothing, costumes, accessories, for ALL sizes and ALL ages fun! Great time to clean out those attics and if you're a thrift store and garage sale shopper, keep your eyes open for fun stuff to donate if you are able.
