Rainbow Ministry (LGBTQIA+)

The Rainbow Ministry is dedicated to welcoming lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning people, their families, and friends to our congregation, and concentrating on issues that affect the LGBTQ+ community.

WUU’s Pulse Nightclub Massacre Memorial Plaque and Pride Crosswalk are visibly symbolic affirmations of our ongoing commitment to providing a welcoming, safe community for LGBTQ+ individuals seeking a spiritual home, and of our ongoing social justice work to affirm and protect the rights, worth, and dignity of LGBTQ+ people here in Williamsburg and beyond.
