Spring Fling Auction Is Near!

Melanie knows something you don’t know…yet! She’s looking at the spreadsheet with all of the donations for the Spring Fling Auction! What is causing her such delight? Is it artwork she loves? A special evening out? A service she needs? The coveted parking spaces? Or is it the sheer volume of different and delightful items we have to auction off?

Fortunately, you won’t have to wait too much longer to share in her delight. The online auction will be open from April 10th -17th, and the Spring Fling party and live auction is less than three weeks away on April 18th! While the online auction is easy access, even to people who are busy on the 18th, the live Spring Fling will be full of fun—in addition to the live auction, there will be raffles, guess-the-number of jellybeans/coins, food, beverages, and music. Here are some key things to remember:

Donations

  • Donations are closed. The Spring Fling Committee sends a BIG thanks to all who contributed—this event is impossible without you.

  • We have donations of all sorts: items, events, services. They are all precious, but represent a wide range of price points, so you don’t have to spend big to participate.

Online Auction

  • NO ticket is needed for the online auction, but you DO have to register in Auctria. Just click here and then click on the box that says “Register for the Online Auction.”

  • The online auction opens April 10th and accepts the last bid at 11:59 pm on April 17th.

Spring Fling Live Auction and Party

  • You DO have to buy a ticket to attend the live Spring Fling Auction and party.  Tickets are on sale online or visit us in the lobby on Sunday mornings for the next two weeks.

  • Bring your paper or digital ticket with you to the live auction on April 18th so you can get your paddle and prepare to bid!

  • There will be events for the kids! There will be at least one item for auction for kids, drawings for other items (free for kids), and everyone is welcome to make their best guess at the number of coins or jellybeans in the jar (a very interested four-year-old thinks there are between 100 and 1,000,000 coins).

  • We will serve food and beverages! Wine and beer will be sold at $5 per glass.

Join in the fun and you, too, will wear an expression of delight!
