WUU Staff Update
We are excited to introduce Robin Wootton as our new Director of Religious Education, beginning November 9. Rev. Jude will introduce Robin during the service this Sunday—please join us in providing a warm welcome!
About Robin:
Robin is a wife, mother, stepmom, daughter, sister, friend, musician, writer/blogger. She has been involved in religious ministry for nearly 20 years in various capacities as a Director of Music and Arts, Children’s Ministry leader, fundraiser, and other hats including the unique role of being a former minister’s spouse. She is passionate about teaching cultural diversity and honoring the faith and ethnic traditions of all with equity and justice. Her free time is spent on researching and sharing history through her blog and podcasts, and she has written as a freelance writer for many years.
She moved to Williamsburg in 2007, moving to Prince George (over the river and through the woods) from 2016-2019. She has also lived in Long Island, New York City, Denver, Los Angeles, Billings (Montana), and Salt Lake City, before moving back to this area in 2023. She was born in South Korea and is adopted and seeks to blend ethnic heritage for her biracial children. She is incredibly honored to join the community at WUU and looks forward to learning with and from all.
