Update from the DRE

M. C. Escher once wrote, "We adore chaos because we love to produce order.” Personally, I think “adore” is a strong word here, but we do recognize that chaos often stirs us up to action and motivates us to take some semblance of control. This brings us to Closets! As part of the efforts to reorganize RE for the K-12 families here at WUU, the RE Committee is undertaking an overhaul of closet spaces and identifying our needs for a robust, well stocked RE program. Practically speaking, reorganizing often means creating a big ole mess first. So, you may notice that Room 108 may have extra stuff and seem a bit more chaotic at first glance. BUT! There is Method to our Madness and we assure you that we will be producing order. Meanwhile let’s all embrace the chaos – if not outright adore it- until we can put it all together again.

SAVE THE DATE: February 22 RE Orientation (new date)

For all Nursery through 12th grade teachers/volunteers, childcare workers, and parents/guardians. Join us to hear more about the Religious Education programs at WUU. Parents are welcome to attend to hear how we structure our programs for grades PreK - 12, safety policies and procedures, and to meet teachers and childcare staff.
