Fresh Starts & Healthy Plates: Eating Well in a New Year

Monday January 12, 10-12:00 in Gathering Hall

January is a great time for a fresh outlook on food and health. Join Senior Companions for an informative talk on healthy eating that focuses on nourishing your body, feeling more energized, and making food choices that support long-term wellness. A dietary specialist from Sentara Regional Medical Center, RDN Megan Cordova, will cover what to eat more of, what to limit, and how to enjoy meals while supporting healthy weight goals.

Those planning to attend need to pre-register with our own Louise Hamilton at Josite2@yahoo.com by January 9, since the presenter needs to plan handouts and materials for all the attendees.
