“Wouldn't It Be Great?” - Larry Pearlman, Guest Worship Leader

In this service we will be exploring what we can do as individuals in the midst of trying times (and aren't there ALWAYS trying times?) to come above the conflict, angst, and hate that may surround us. Going beyond or, perhaps more accurately, before anything we can do in terms of outward service is critical to consider if we are to return our world to peace and love.

Larry Pearlman has always seen spirituality and practical living as one thing. He combined a successful 30 year career in sales, training and public speaking with teaching spiritual classes and acting as a minister for a non-denominational church for twenty years. He is also the author of two books, encouraging people to discover and express the Truth of themselves.

Larry says he has been following Spirit, or intuition if you prefer, for most of his life and that brought him to a stint in Ghana with the Peace Corps at 60 years of age, three years living at a spiritual community in the foothills of the Rockies, and a 4+ years global walkabout to NJ, Florida, Texas, Costa Rica, Australia, South Africa, and New Zealand. In 2017 he planted in Black Mountain, NC and has been a solid part of the UU church there ever since.
